Hands-on Video Editing with Final Cut Pro & Express
Attendees may bring their own laptops with Final Cut Express or Final Cut Pro installed. Others may follow along on a large screen. A collection of underwater clips will be distributed and you will be walked through the steps required to produce a professional looking video. Some of the topics covered will be: log and capture, timelines, transitions, motion, titles, and soundtracks. Learn to avoid the most common amateur mistakes. This 3-hour workshop covers the difference between HD and SD video formats. The course includes many shooting techniques and advanced camera features that will improve the quality of your video. In addition, the work shop explores methods of composing and lighting your subjects; developing story lines; and the different components of editing including a demonstration of what to do and not to do. With your underwater camera and home computer you too can produce a professional looking video.
